Fraulein Else

Adapted and performed by Amy de Lucia, star of the film Super Troopers, Fraulein Else is based on the Arthur Schnitzler novella of the same name. It is a searing portrait of innocence lost. It tells the story of a young woman who must make a heart-wrenching decision in order to save her family from ruin, as she struggles between her loyalty and love for her father and her notion of self-worth. In a judgemental society without close friends, Else turns increasingly inward, beginning her maddening spiral out of reality.
