About the Show

Theatre Double Repertory Company and Chashama present a critically-acclaimed new production of Ntozake Shange’s classic, for colored girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is enuf. Described as a “choreopoem,” the show tells a tale of seven very different women who have each loved their men far more than themselves. Directed by Michael LeLand, the cast features Shelita Birchett, Juanita Amonitti, Erika Ewing, Nadine Mozon, Jennifer Bragg, Victoria Gonzales and Penwah.
