New York City
Edward Elefterion directs the New York premiere of Figaro Gets a Divorce by the influential Hungarian playwright Odon von Horvath. An ensemble of ten actors performs this comedy that re-actualizes the archetypal character of Mozart’s opera in a world crumbling from a revolution. His characters struggle to hold on to, discover or reinvent their identities while in exile.
