About This Show

EXode is a series of evenings featuring eclectic new works by emerging New York artists. Dance, sketch comedy, and theatre are all included in this production showcasing the best of downtown theatre. Events include:

The Buccaneer – a tale of love, treachery, and revenge set in fantastical Spain and presented in its native language

Corn – a ten-minute poetic work for four actors attempting to sanctify the mundane through close consideration

The Shaker Sisters – the remaining Shaker descendents violently dance and convulse for the enjoyment of the audience

Persians – this adaptation retells Aeschylus’ story for a new age, still contemplating war between East and West

boring (boring!) – a comedic dance piece about escapism and the attempt to meet an unattainable ideal

Maryanne and Terianne – a two-woman comedy routine based entirely on improv from Terianne Falcone and Maryanne Murray

All tickets are available at the box office on the day of the show only.
