The Molly House Theater company, whose works delve into “queer myths,” makes its Bronx debut with two one act plays, Eva Peron and The Homosexual or the Difficulty of Sexpressing Oneself by Argentine designer and cartoonist, Copi. The Eva Peron play re-interprets the famous icon’s last night on earth. It opens with her throwing a fit in search of one of her many presidential robes and ends with a biting twist. In the second one act play, gender mixing reigns supreme with the sexual entanglements of a mother and daughter, and includes an appearance by the film diva Greta Garbo.
Eva Peron and The Homosexual or the Difficulty of Sexpressing Oneself is part of The Out Like That! Festival celebrates the creative diversity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community.
