Enredaderas (Entaglements)

Laura Ward and the Octavia Cup Dance Theatre presents Enredaderas (Entanglements). The classically trained collaborators have created a work loaded with dance and music from different cultures and eras. Recorded Mexican music from the sixties knocks boots with life percussion and accordian, classical pointe work sidles up against a new post modern approach to the toe shoe. These elements are entagled by tacile, sets and props.
