EATFest – Fall 2004

EATFest – Fall 2004 is the Emerging Artists Theatre’s semi-annual showcase of new works by emerging playwrights.

Series A – Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m.
In “MY BOYFRIEND’S WIFE” by BARBARA LINDSAY, directed by DEB GUSTON, a woman in love goes to a cemetery to confront her rival.
“THE MARKETING PLAN” by JACK RUSHEN, directed by CHRISTOPHER MARING puts you in the most important corporate boardroom in the world, where a marketing team puts together a plan that will have a stellar effect on all mankind.
In “END OF THE PARTY” by ALEX LEWIN, directed by CHRISTOPHER BORG, a mother facing her own mortality in the hours after her sixtieth birthday party unleashes upon her son the truth that has kept them distant for so many years.

Series B Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.
In “SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR” by KEVIN BROFSKY, directed by MARK FINLEY two elderly women work themselves into a state of paranoia when a mysterious box is delivered for their Arab-American neighbor.
In “MORONS” by WILLIAM BAER, directed by CARTER INSKEEP, two idiot savant brothers turn the tables on their immoral physician begging the question, “who really is the moron?”
In “LE PEU” by GREGG PASTERNACK, directed by AMY FIORE what happens when a neighbor gives you the shirt off his back and so much more.

Series C – Fridays and Sundays at 7:00 p.m.
“WOMAN WITH COFFEE” by TED LORUSSO, directed by STEVEN MCELROY depicts a portrait of a couple in flux longing for the right words to set it all
straight.
“BOOK SIGNING” by E. MITCHELL, directed by RASA ALLAN KAZLAS
examines the life of an author who reluctantly goes on a book tour to
promote his new novel where he encounters questions and answers, wine and cheese, and discovers an unexpected change of heart.
