East Coast Funny Women Fest

Cheryl King and Susan Santaniello, Co-Producers of the East Coast Funny Women Fest, have assembled a set of shows that will run the gamut of comedy performance style.

Friday, Oct 24 at 8pm
Cheryl will emcee a show that features the best of New York City’s standup comics, including Shauna Lane, Julie Goldman, and Terry Madshaw.

Friday, Oct 24 at 10pm
Two solo show artists: Jan Rudd and Adrianne Frost

Saturday, Oct 25 at 8pm
The “Out-of-Towners”: .”Bevy” a Chicago improv group; Amy Roeder, an original member of Boston’s award-winning Improv Asylum mainstage cast; Shaun Landry, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the critically acclaimed, and only African American Touring Sketch Comedy and Improvisational Theatre Company Oui Be Negroes will present “Black and Tan” with Ana Elizondo, a fellow member of the group.

Saturday, Oct 25 at 10pm
Local improv groups: Crazy Bitches, What Men Talk About (While Women Make Us Wait), directed by Topping Haggerty.

Sunday, Oct 26 at 6pm
“New Comedians” show: Students and fledgling comics work out their new material.

Sunday, Oct 26 at 8pm
Hilary Chaplain will present her solo show, “A Life in Her Day”, which won a “Best of the Fest” award at the 2003 New York International Fringe Festival.
