About This Show

by Attic People

An apartment block. A water shortage. The Annual Cracker Valley Friendly Water Conservation Contest. An eccentric chorus of spying neighbours is dead set on winning, but their water-scrimping efforts are foiled by their new neighbour Ben, who spends hours in the bathtub dreaming about the German girl next door. The deeper Ben withdraws into his aquatic fantasy world, the more he becomes an obstacle to be removed at all costs. For the first time in the U.S. Attic People, an international Lecoq-trained company based in France, will perform their original and colourful devised piece Drip.

Winner of the 2002 Baby Milk Foundation Tap Water Award for “Best Physical Theatre” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the 2003 NSDF Judges’ Award for “Total Ensemble,” Drip tells the darkly comic tale of one community united against an outsider who refuses to obey the rules.
