About the Show

A man, after recovering from a car accident, believes that his wife is not his wife but an exact copy of his real wife. A woman discovers that she can no longer feel her muscles in motion and must learn to move using only visual feedback. A man with tourettes syndrome must choose between catatonia and freneticism. A woman with an enlarged brain tumor has entirely lost her ability to find emotional attachment to anyone or anything. Disorder takes a compelling look into the brain as machine, and the quiet tragedies that can occur with its dysfunction. The piece is loosely based on neurological case studies from renowned neurologists Oliver Sacks, V.S. Ramachandran, and others, exposing the variety of dysfunction that can occur in the human brain on a purely neurological level.
