About This Show

Dirty Water, one of Chicago’s premiere improv comedy shows, makes its New York City debut. Special Guest Dan Bakkedahl from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart joins Dirty Water on stage. The evening opens with stand-up by Paul “Fitzy” Fitzgerald.

Dirty Water is hilarious comedy set in a sports bar in South Boston. The show stars five bar patrons who debate, dissect and argue a variety of topics ranging from world politics and the morality of dating your best friend’s sister to the Red Sox and remaking Top Gun. Dirty Water features a wide range of opinions and points of view from Perle Parlon, an eccentric GE line worker, Roger Goldberg, a pretentious English professor, Pat McDonough, a wise-cracking convenience store owner, Rich King, a philosophical southerner and Sully, a down-on-his-luck bartender. The gang will take one idea from the audience and present a show on how it affects their lives and world views, all from the comfort of their barstools and in the close reach of another beer.
