Daisy in the Dreamtime

Daisy in the Dreamtime is based on the true story of Daisy Bates, an Irish emigrant who chose in 1913 to live among the Australian Aborigine rather than “civilized” Westerners. By quickly immersing herself in the Aboriginal lifestyle, Daisy becomes its cultural historian and protector. When German missionary Annie Lock arrives to spread Christianity, Daisy attempts to teach Annie a respect for the people’s tradition-steeped way of life.
