About This Show

Set in the 1970’s this musical comedy is as contemporary as ever. With book by George Furth and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Company explores an honest and sophisticated look at relationships. The story follows the confirmed bachelor Robert on the night of his 35th birthday as he weighs the pluses and minuses of married life. He is surrounded by his well meaning friends (five married couples) as well as the three current women in his life. Songs include “Another Hundred People”, “You Could Drive A Person Crazy”, “The Ladies Who Lunch” and “Being Alive.”

David E. Leidholdt directs this production for St. Vincent Players. Musical direction is by Patrick Barnes, with choreography by Bob Cline.
