Turning the tables on the waiting-for-a-ring scenario, Committed begins after Nadia rejects a marriage proposal from her boyfriend of three years, Ben. The couple seeks counsel from Dr. Jane, therapist for both humans and troubled canines. Nadia’s newly pregnant best friend Lizzie and lovable yet domineering mother demand that the usually happy couple work through their differences.
