The company performs Katherine Dunham’s signature piece "Shango", a vivid portrayal of a voodoo ceremony, "Te Mate", a fusion work by Ivory Coast choreographer Madu Niasse, "Takai", a dance of Hausa royalty from northern Ghana by Charles Moore, and a change of pace, "A Hole In The Wall", locals on a rainy night in a torrid night spot, by Alfred Gallman. Other works include "Batakatu", Babatunde Olatunji’s Nigerian competition dance and "Slaves Night Out", based on New Orleans Congo Square, by Charles Moore.
