Call it Peace: Mediations from North America

Inspired by the War on Terrorism, Call it Peace: Mediations from North America is the first in Anthony P. Pennino’s series about American experiences of death and war. Rich, an American journalist, is imprisoned with Cal, a young backpacker from Canada. Both must find internal strength in order to survive this kidnapping by a terrorist organization, but when Cal dies, Rich begins to find himself slowly driven mad.
