An empty gas tank brings three people together off an uninhabited stretch of highway: Troy (Craig Smith), a curious biker; André (Michael Surabian), a wealthy young bachelor; and Chloe (Elise Stone), André’s adventurous girlfriend. When police arrive on the scene within hours, an inexplicable act of violence has taken place. Interrogations of the participants — and of Mrs. Millwood (Sheila O’Malley), a local clairvoyant — only add to the ambiguity: Was the violence deliberate or accidental? Was rape involved? And who did what to whom? The testimony of an unexpected fourth witness (Joe Rayome) brings a startling new view of the events in question and the humanity of the people involved.
