About This Show

Stone Soup Theatre Arts continues its second season with Breathe Free, an original work created by the cast and crew. The show features an ensemble cast of 10, representing Argentina, China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Puerto Rico and Taiwan, as well as the United States.

Breathe Free was inspired by the personal experiences of its multi-national cast, and tells the story of three new New Yorkers who choose to break the
invisible barriers that keep neighbors from becoming friends, and use the bonds they form to fight an unjust arrest. The search for freedom brings the characters to the same neighborhood in Queens, but the fight to secure this ideal brings them together. Cara Blouin directs.
