About This Show

Written, composed and performed by Ned Massey, Bloodties is a solo-show about faith and forgiveness in a messed up world. The show is based on Massey’s personal history and roughly follows the course of his life – from childhood in an Irish-Catholic family and the victim of an abusive father, through a fairy-tale entrance into the music world, a devastating series of setbacks and happiness in a life never expected. Massey’s music is a unique blend of folk, rock and country mixed with obvious Irish influences. The late and legendary Columbia Records A&R man John Hammond called Massey “the finest talent since Dylan and Springsteen.”

Bloodites is being presented as part of the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival. Katherine Miller Hardy directs.
