Winner’s Circle is written and performed by Ann Carr. Come and see Joy, a virgin at 35, search for passion; Janey, Twinkie addict and spokes-model hopeful, find inspiration in the angelic Victoria Principal; Miss Hickory Thicket, the Maria Callas of spokes-modelling, break it DOWN for you; and Carol, joyful employee of The American Kennel Club, explain why she hates dogs. It all ties together…….really!
The Rabbit Hole, written and performed by Shauna Lane, is set in a coffee shop where one customer rehearses her performance art, another spontaneously breaks into song on his harmonica when he cannot express his love for the waitress through words, and the waitress performs a shadow puppet play when work becomes too dreary. The characters’ dreams are deeply funny in their honesty and authenticity, and, ultimately, provide hope for everyone with dreams of expressing themselves through art.
