About This Show

Theater for the New City presents its 22nd annual free street theater production at a public space near you! Written and directed by Crystal Field, Biotech is an outdoor musical comedy sci-fi thriller in which the world’s leading chemical companies conspire with its foremost trade and banking institutions to take over the world. Their plan: They will seed a Lower East Side community garden with a genetic composite of a man’s penis and a potato to create a domineering hybrid known as “Dick Tater.”
