Beyond the Horizon

Boomerang Theatre Company presents Beyond the Horizon, by Eugene O’Neill, directed by Cailin Heffernan.

Introspective and sensitive Robert falls in love with Ruth, who is engaged to his brother Andrew; she marries Robert, and Andrew goes off to sea. Three years pass and Robert, sick and disillusioned, fails to make a go of it on the farm. Andrew returns, but brings with him only his own disillusion. Robert yearns for the romance his brother is supposed to have enjoyed, and Ruth yearns for the happiness she should have had with Andrew.
