August in December

Creative Artists Laboratory presents an evening of rarely seen one-acts by August Strindberg in August in December. On the bill are Motherlove, First Warning (one of Strindberg’s few comedies), and In the Face of Death. Each work has been updated and relocated to America in the mid-20th century. The evening explores themes of love, racism, and jealousy as only the master Strindberg can do.
