Straight from the news headlines, Ashley brings you the tragic tale that’s typical of today’s youth. Coping with their past, with little consideration to their future. The play deals with the problem plaguing the inner city, single teenage motherhood. Ashley is a seventeen year old; drop dead gorgeous reincarnate of her negligent mother, despite her many efforts, has turned out to be exactly what she tried her entire short, barely lived life, not to become, a product of her environment. Now she’s alone, broke, desperate, and what’s worst, she has a baby in the middle of the mess she’s made.
