About This Show

An idyllic Shaker community in 1830s Kentucky is upset when the youngest in a group of nine women claim they have visions of angels. The elders struggle in vain to dismiss their claims and restore order, while joyful madness and hysteria spread among the young, threatening hierarchy and tradition. The Journey Company presents the U.S. premiere of As It is in Heaven, a new musical drama by Arlene Hutton, directed by Journey Company artistic director Beth Lincks.

The show opens on Friday, January 11th and continues Saturday, January 12th and Sunday January 13th at 8:00 p.m. Monday January 14th will be a Benefit show for New Dramatists at 8:30 p.m. Performances continue Saturdays and Sundays @ 3:00 p.m. and Mondays and Tuesdays @ 8:00 p.m. through Tuesday, February 5th. There will be no performance on Monday January 21st.
