Earl Dax’s monthly performance salon celebrates the one-year mark with an All-Night, All-Star Art Jam!
Nick Hallett takes a brake from his recent curating successes (“23 Reasons to Save New York,” Harkness, etc.) to work the turntables for the early evening salon groove; while DJ Texx (Scissor Sisters tour, Park, etc…), fresh from his recent Asian travels keeps the late-night crowd movin’ and groovin’. Murray Hill co-hosts the festivities which include performances by the likes of Whitney-biennial glam-rockers Fabulous Entourage, burlesque’s kissing Wau Wau Sisters, and downtown matriarch Penny Arcade. Taylor Mac and Marga Gomez drop by in advance of their upcoming April shows (Red Tide Blooming for Mac and Gomez’s Los Big Names Off-Broadway). Additional appearances by Chris Rael, Dynasty Handbag, Neil Medlyn, Jay Brannan, Jennifer Miller (Circus Amok), and surprise guests.
