In her New York City premiere, co-presented by French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF)’s Crossing The Line Festival, famed South African choreographer Robyn Orlin will present the season’s opening main stage performance, September 22-24. The piece And so you see… our honorable blue sky and ever enduring sun… can only be consumed slice by slice… features Johannesburg-born actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and performance artist Albert Ibokwe Khoza in a powerful solo performance. The work was created in response to South Africa’s recent celebration of 20 years of freedom and contains Orlin’s trademark mix of forms, expressions and genre.
