About the Show

National Asian American Theatre Company responds to the threat of war with a stage adaptation of Archibald MacLeish’s 1938 radio play Air Raid. MacLeish used powerful poetic language to address Americans’ fears as World War II loomed on the horizon. Sixty-five years later, the play’s warnings about the perils of fascism remain shockingly timely, in reverse, as the U.S. prepares to wage a war with Iraq largely without the support of governing world bodies. Stephen Stout directs a 20-member, all Asian-American cast.

The final performance on Sunday, April 6 begins at 5:00pm.
