About This Show

This will be a night of love, laughter and healing. This is a showcase of featured comedians, singers and musicians. The show caters to the social work community, to those who spend countless hours giving themselves for others. KDD has been serving the community since 1991and has produced countless artists who now can be seen on television, movies and print.

Anthony Bryant – (Host) President of KDD Productions. Anthony has produced shows across United States. He founded KDD in 1991 and attributes it’s success to introducing countless comedians and performers who have come through KDD’s Comedy Plus events and have went on to do TV, Radio and Film. Anthony’s hosting style is simple-bringing himself to the audience. His transparent, interactive style of engaging the audience is second to none. Healing is what KDD is about. Bringing healing through the arts, using humor as an anchor for the soul.

Marina Franklin (Comedian) – one of the hottest Black Female comics emerging from the comedy scene today. She performs regularly in clubs and Universities throughout the Country. Marina has appeared on “Showtime at the Apollo”, “Chappelle’s Show”, Oxygen’s “Girls Behaving Badly”, Colin Quinn’s “Tough Crowd”, and this season of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”. What’s next? Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”!

Dean Edwards (Comedian) – Former Saturday Night Live Cast Member, Dean was Born in the Bronx and raised throughout various parts of New York. Dean’s travels have made it easy for him to communicate with all walks of life. His career began over a decade ago in a college talent show. Always the multi-tasker, Dean divided his college career between classes, and a 6 year term in the U.S. Army reserves. Although his fellow soldier’s loved his impression of their drill sergeant, Dean spent many an afternoon doing push-ups for his comedic talent. After graduating with a degree in communications, Dean began performing more often and has since earned a reputation as a headlining favorite. Club & college crowds nationwide consider him a hot new talent on the rise. His comedic approach is reminiscent of Will Smith because of his mainstream appeal to all audiences.
