Agatha Christie’s “The Hollow”

The Minstrel Players Theatre Company of Northport prepare for their ninth season at Houghton Hall – Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village with a Spring production of Agatha Christie’s classic mystery, The Hollow. In the eleven seasons The Minstrel Players have been in existence they have yet to stage a play by Agatha Christie and hope the audience is as excited as they are about this production.

The cast contains veteran Minstrels: Roseann Baldanza, Sarah Cassidy, Jim Connors, Eileen Der Aris, Evan Donnellan, Michael J. Freed, Carl Nehring, Karen Ottomano, Ray Palen and Tara Palen as well as few newcomers making their Minstrel stage debuts: Stephanie M. Augustin and Vanessa Cuccia.

The Hollow takes place at the home of Sir Henry and Lady Lucy Angkatell who are hosting a dinner for family and a few close friends. An unhappy game of romantic ‘Follow My Leader’ explodes into murder and the suspects are everyone in the household. In classic Agatha Christie style, this play will have the audience guessing and second-guessing along with a few of Scotland Yard’s finest Detectives at to the true identity of the murderer or murderess!
