A Tribute to Katherine Dunham

Katherine Dunham’s body of work and achievements will be celebrated over three days of film footage, dance, music and oral presentations. Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee will host a growing list of performers and speakers featuring performances by Wynton Marsalis and Edwidge Danticat. The event is being organized by the Pangea Theatre company and will launch an international fundraising campaign to establish the Katherine Dunham Residance and Legacy Foundation based in New York.
