4.48 Psychosis

An Awkward Society presents a site-specific production of Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis.

This performance of 4.48 Psychosis is set in a former factory that forces audience members and performers to co-exist in close proximity. Audiences are admitted in groups no larger than seventeen per performance, and are encouraged to follow their impulses and move around the space as they wish for the duration of the performance. Whether this means turning lights on and off or touching the actors is up to the individual.

An Awkward Society is a new Brooklyn based theatre company that aims to confront it’s audiences with uncomfortable and unstable themes and settings.
