New York City
Twelfth Night
$25 - $35
One of Shakespeare’s most renowned comedies, Twelfth Night is a timeless examination of love in its various forms – romantic love, familial love, love of self, etc. It is also a timely commentary on the transformative power that such love exercises on identity and status.
This production will use the classic language of Shakespeare in the modern setting of the tropical resort Illyria, owned by the mourning Olivia, and frequented by the likes of Orsino, a competitive surfer, and Sir Toby Belch, a freeloading uncle.
This uniquely funny rendition will feature some of NYC’s finest actors, improvisers, stand up comedians and musical performers.
