Gregor has spent the past few years as a traveling salesman, by all accounts one of those nameless, faceless workers no one notices. One morning something happens: he turns into a cockroach. While the rest of the family’s reaction is one of shock and horror, other feelings quickly surface, such as worry and practicality.
