The Importance of Being Earnest

Aquila Theatre Company brings its acclaimed physical style to Oscar Wilde’s witty and irreverent satire of Britain’s privileged upper classes. Wild loved to turn social conventions on their heads. This version of The Importance of Being Earnest shows us the passion within that flirtation, invoking popular British TV series “Absolutely Fabulous” and “Top of the Pops”. Robert Richmond directs.
