Gilbert & Sullivan’s Princess Ida is directed by William J. Brooke, and conducted by Ronald W. Noll.
Bumbling, armor-clad warriors and ivory-towered ladies vie to determine which is really the weaker sex in this mixture of sharp-witted verse, soaring melody and tongue-twisting patter songs. Containing some of Gilbert & Sullivan’s most humorous characters, production will give you full opportunity to discover the joys of this lesser-known masterwork with its new production, featuring new scenery, costumes, and staging with a full 25-piece, professional orchestra.
