About This Show

Actor/comedian Alan King stars as legendary film producer Samuel Goldwyn in Marsha Lebby and John Lollos’ new play, Mr. Goldwyn. Set in 1952, the show features the consummate Hollywood producer reeling from the impact of television. The forest of TV antennas are growing thicker by the day, and the movie moguls are vulnerable as never before. Sam Goldwyn needs a hit and decides to gamble big. Gene Saks directs.
