Modern Noh Plays

Yukio Ninagawa, one of the world’s great directors, brings to the Lincoln Center Festival two of the Modern Noh Plays written by Nobel Prize-nominated playwright Yukio Mishima, the giant of Japanese 20th century literature who breathed new life into classic Noh scenarios. Ninagawa stages two of the most pungent plays in this spellbinding, sumptuously produced evening.
