About the Show

Isadora…No Apologies invites the audience to spend an evening with Isadora Duncan, one of the most provocative artists and individuals of the 20th century. This play moves through her earliest inspirations of nature and Greek aesthetics, her reaction to women’s roles in vaudeville entertainment, her first success in Budapest, her struggle to open a dance school, the loss of her children, her infamous love interests and her even more infamous death, while featuring and revealing her original choreographies. The performance was conceived by Lori Belilove, and directed by Andrew Frank.
