Edgar Allen Poe Festival

About This Show

Come in, come in! Enter into the spectral shadows of St. John’s Sanctuary, which has sat quietly for 190 years in the heart of the historic Greenwich Village. But now…lit by flickering candlelight and bathed in ghostly mist, the players at the award-winning, critically acclaimed Radiotheatre hope to chill the marrow in your bones as they present their annual Edgar Allen Poe Festival! This year they will not only perform some of Poe’s classics but will also present works by “the children of Poe”…authors such as Bram Stoker, H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, and others inspired by Poe. As usual, every Radiotheatre production comes complete with stellar storytellers, original orchestral scores, and a plethora of sound effects!
