Dan Sarkisian moves to New York City from a small town in Michigan. He’s there to study fashion design but quickly learns he has even more to learn about himself. Dan makes new friends in the city that love and accept him just as he is, with this new freedom he begins to explore his identity. With their support, he falls in love with himself and another man. At Thanksgiving break, he finds himself back in Michigan visiting his mom. How will she respond to his newfound identity? Is a mother’s love more powerful than culture or religion?
