About This Show
The New Group presents Trevor Griffiths’ Comedians. The play follows a group of aspiring stand-up comics in mid-seventies Manchester, England as the arrival of an agent from London brings an opportunity for them to leap from classes at a local night school to a break in the big league. Scott Elliott directs.
Performances are in the Samuel Beckett Theatre from January 3-February 2. The production then moves to the Acorn Theatre from February 5-23. Both theatres are in the newly renovated Theatre Row Complex.
