About This Show

Legendary showman Ben Vereen, celebrated for his artistry on stage and screen, will direct and choreograph Broadway Sings the Odd Potato, a concert musical for Hanukkah. Based on the children’s story, The Odd Potato, by Eileen Bluestone Sherman, the show is often called the “Hanukkah Nutcracker” or the “Jewish Christmas Carol”. The plot, set at Hanukkah, chronicles a difficult time for the Levy family. After his wife’s death, Joe Levy remains in a deep depression. With their mother gone, Sammy and Rachel Levy need their father’s attention more than ever. A tale both comic and heart-wrenching, The Odd Potato reminds us that the power of a child’s imagination can produce miracles.

The show stars Molly Ephraim, BJ Crosby, Frank Gorshin, Tony® Award-winner Debbie Gravitte, Mark Jacoby, Charlotte Rae, and Sky Jarrett.

Presented by 6-10 Productions.
