Mariana Bekerman Dance Company performs dances by choreographer Mariana Bekerman that explore one’s personal journeys through dance. Sharing observations, concerns and fears, superstitions, and beliefs, in the hope of enriching the life of the community and positively impacting the individual’s sense of self, she creates process-driven dance that is accessible to all audiences. Through collaboration, MBDC strives to avoid the gloom, doom, and angst often associated with modern dance by producing great works of art that represent profound expressions of the human spirit and experience.
