Lolia Madriguera: From Swing to Samba features favorite songs from the 1920s through the 1940s, with a musical tribute to Lolia’s father, Enric Madriguera, a violinist and orchestra leader who brought Cuban ensemble music to New York audiences at the Biltmore and Waldorf-Astoria hotels. Lolia is accompanied by Katie Cosco on piano, Ray Parker on acoustical bass, and Jeff Brillinger on drums and percussion.
