Kindertransport

The compelling story of a German-Jewish mother who boards her daughter, Eva, on a train bound for England, thus saving her from certain death by Nazi hands. Years later, Eva has assimilated to British society and changed her name to Evelyn, but has never told her adult daughter, Faith, that she is Jewish and how she came to England. When Faith stumbles across old papers and photos and confronts her mother about it, Evelyn is forced to reveal her painful past in order to create a hopeful future for her own daughter
