About This Show

Keigwin Kabaret is a spectacle of contemporary dance and burlesque, where audiences glimpse the underbelly of performance culture. Inspired by the backstage events of live theater, the company presents smart dances with hints of irony, while special guests juice up the entertainment quotient.

The evening’s special guests are Mr. Murray Hill, Mike Albo, Howling Vic and Akynos. The company’s always provocative repertory includes vaudevillian interludes by Mr. Murray Hill, Mike Albo and Howling Vic folded around works by Larry Keigwin – Girls, Boys, Sunshine and Patrick Portrait, all set to pop music – and two numbers co-choreographed with Nicole Walcott. The evening also offers Dropkick Cocker, choreographed and performed by Julian Barnett. The finale, All Interludes, is set to music by Justin Timberlake, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Chaka Kahn, Khia, and Missy Elliot.
