About This Show

Jerry Greenberg, a popular Manhattan-based singer/songwriter, presents Parody Tonight, a lighthearted musical satire lampooning an array of people and events from the world of contemporary politics and entertainment. Subjects range from Hillary Clinton, Mel Gibson and Paris Hilton to Iraq, North Korea and Same-Sex Marriage. The show includes sophisticated parodies of Broadway and other standards, including songs by Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers and Jerome Kern among others.

Jerry Greenberg has appeared at The Plaza, Rainbow Room, Maxim’s and other top New York night spots, earning unanimous praise. The late Roone Arledge of ABC-TV said: “Listening to Jerry is like going to a Broadway show, only I don’t have to worry about parking.”
