Jazz Piano at the Y presents Improvs on Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway. Pianist Dick Hyman is joined by Bill Charlap and the members of his trio, bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington. Sondheim’s career in musical theater spans more than 40 years and includes such hits as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Sweeney Todd, and Into the Woods.
