Carolyn Leigh’s songs, including “Young at Heart,” “The Best is Yet to Come” and “Witchcraft,” were immortalized by hipsters from Frank Sinatra to Peggy Lee and Tony Bennett. In New York or Vegas, they embodied ’50s and ’60s life through-the-martini-glass. Along with the hit records and a stormy collaboration with Cy Coleman, Leigh also produced Broadway gems like Peter Pan and Little Me.
